Whose Idea Was this Anyway???

So, I weighed-in last night and I'm UP a pound. Yes, UP. I'm friggin' starving and I gained weight. However, I don't really think it was a gain as much as circumstance. I ate before the meeting and wore jeans. I was running errands after the meeting so I wanted to make sure I ate and didn't grab something on the run. Voila, Up a Pound...

Anyway, that's where we are. Apparently it's very common not to lose the second week. We'll see.

Damn, that sucks. But I think you're right, it was the food that's was in you. When I did WW I was militant about wearing the exact same thing each week; no matter how dirty or smelly, I wore that blue tracksuit.

Re: starving: this is not good. Have you thought about switching to Core?

When I did WW, I actually took a water pill the morning of my weigh-in day. I never considered it "cheating" because I always did it and then I had a more accurate reading on the scale. Your weight will usually vary depending on how much you have eaten prior to weigh-in, where you are during your "cycle", etc. so much like Heather's stanky blue track suit...I opted for my weekly water pill. Sure I spent most of my pre-weigh in time in the toilet but whatever.:)

Hey thanks Newm! I'm also a huge fan of probiotics (from Whole Foods) taken the night of my cheat meal. To be frank, the healthy bacteria helps um, move the food along my um, tract faster, so I'm not bloated as hell from having say, 1.5 ginormous slices of Chicago-style pizza and a glass of wine. Hypothetically speaking of course.
