The Shake Update
Ok it wasn't disastrous. I don't feel that great after having the shake. But I feel like it's too much. I'm trying to get permission from my kickass trainer to eat real food post-workout instead.

I couldn't do it. I always see shakes and think, "Huh, that seems like a good idea." I myself dabbled in protein shakes back in my single days. But, like you, I feel there HAS to be a real food equivalent. Good luck!
We met at a Christmas party in 2001, and have been smitten with each other ever since. We share a wacky sense of humor.
Heather moved to California in 2005, met a great guy and just got married. She's on a mission to look her hottest before they start a family.
Megan was left behind in Maryland by Heather and has already started a family; daughter Finley is almost two. We definitely want another child but I refuse to pack baby weight onto the baby weight I left to lose. Twenty pounds lighter should do the trick.
We know there's no substitute for a great support system, so here's where we'll be each other cheerleaders, as well as egg each other on in our weight-loss goals. A little healthy competition never hurt anyone...
